Keep Count really is an app you can count on, literally! It is a generic counting application that allows you to group together counting items.
A good example of this would be;
Golf Score Card.
You create a group named ‘Golf’ and then within that you would create 18 count items named Hole1 through Hole18. This can then be used to enter your scores on the golf course. Simple! A variation on this theme would be to enter player names in to a group and then score each player in turn. Why not have both group options installed in Keep Count so you can be as flexible as you want. At the end of the round the scores can be reset and used again next time.
Keep Count can be used for any number of group related counting exercises. There are a lot of applications in the app store that are used to track/count your habits such as calories, alcohol units, sports scores, exercise, mileage, time spent, shopping list etc etc. While Keep Count can not offer the enhanced functionality of these apps it can provide a simplified solution all in one application.
Simple clean interface
Unlimited number of parent groups
Unlimited number of count items
Variable increment amount per count item
individual initial value set for each count item
Group reset so all items can be set to their initial value an re-used.
There is a lot more to come with Keep Count. we are already working on the next version. If you have any ideas or suggestions about the application then please feel free to drop us an email.
Useful; will be great with added options
I bought this to keep score/ tally answers when playing Jeopardy with my friends- good for that in its simplicity. The interface should be condensed though so names within a group appear with a +/- next to them and total count on the right (imagine sorting through a jar of nuts and bolts of different sizes--) This would save innumerable amounts of screen changes. The app should be able to replicate groups already created via a "save as..." function. Then I can take the 18 holes created for my "Golf Card" (painstakingly in this automated instantaneous world) and make it "Joe's Golf" and "Mark's Golf" with a few flicks of the finger and keep score for the group (and catch those "forgotten" strokes!). An "Add Next #" function would be useful for creating the initial Golf Card as well, reducing redundancy in the creation of an indeterminable amount of lists to come! I have high hopes for this app, looking forward to future versions for more stars.
This app is very useful to me , the only thing I would like to be able to do is to be able to see when I logged each entry if possible. When I get busy and think I logged something but can't remember , if I could see my last entry on that list, it could help eliminate double or missed entries. Other than that, perfect app to keep track of things!
