very useful well-executed utility
this app ranks near the top five of all the apps i’ve ever downloaded from the app store in terms of day-to-day usefulness. i’m very disappointed to hear the developer is dropping support. i only hope this one keeps running for a few more years... i also hope some other developer will step in and pick up this app or write a new one with similar functionality. i would definintely be willing to pay for ongoing support.
the app is convenient but unobtrusive. tracks multiple accounts (so for example, i can keep track of my and my kids’ accounts). tracks books on hold as well as books checked out, so you can browse on the internet and issue requests instead of just walking the aisles in the library (thought i sometimes still do that as well).
if you use a library regularly, you should get this app. if you don’t use a library regularly because you find it inconvenient, this app may help to change that for you.
It's a shame the developer isn't supporting this app anymore, because it's absolutely fantastic. I think people forget how much great stuff is available at their local library. Sure, there are books, but there's also music, movies and more... and with this app, all of your holds are in your menubar at a click. It's really well done.
Nothing else like it
This app is still great - even 2+ years after end of support!
The iOS version also still works, although it's no longer available for download.
I'd gladly pay again if the developer decided to revisit this app and update it.
