Welcome to Linear!
You wake up slowly, but you can’t remember how you got here. You no longer have a body – you are a pure particle of energy, a faceless mote. And other motes want to prevent you from escaping…
Easy to learn, rewarding to master, Linear is a strategy game in which players draw lines to score points and prevent being pinned by other players’ energy lines. Players receive more points the more territory they capture.
Linear can be played alone or with others (2-6 people). Use your GameCenter friends list or Facebook friends list and challenge your friends. And whether you play together or separately, you can check how well you are doing against each other each day on the GameCenter leaderboards!
With over 30 levels, Linear offers hours of fun. Recommended for Ages 6-65

Really want to like this...
This is my kind of game, but several (really easy to fix!) things make it pretty close to unplayable for me.
1. No full rules or instructions for how to play anywhere in the app. Don't understand the rules from the tutorial? Too bad.
2. The scoring box doesn't represent the actual scores for making a line. The closest thing to in game help appears to be (as far as I can tell) just flat out inconsistent with the actual gameplay.
3. I kept getting achievements (for finishing the tutorial?), so later I hit the achievements button from the menu, and THAT'S when the app logged me into Game Center. (With no achievements, mind you.)
Like I said, I really wanted to like this. One other minor niggle: The game feels like it's probably better 2-player, but the single player campaign (at least in the first 4 or 5 levels) is mostly against multiple AI.
Great game, kids love it
Our daughter loves to play Minecraft and would give it a 4. She gave Linear a 4.5, so that is saying something! Really likes the increasing difficulty of the levels, the computer opponents and the added complexity as you keep playing and gain experience. Great job on this game! Definitely recommend it!
If you've played it before you'll get a kick out of the new achievements and motes. Quick match lets a few people pass it around on one iPad.
There's more story now, fleshing out the mote faces a bit. Still a spooooky game of space, build that tube!
