Latest update: slow and painful bugs ruins the convenience

I've been using lose it on and off (mostly off) for around 6 years. It's a good tool to lose weight when I want; I'm pretty good at maintaining my current weight on my own once I'm past my initial "body wants to gain weight" window of ~3 months, barring major stress and when maintaining good habits.
I've been using it again because I'm pregnant and don't want to gain more than the recommended amount of weight, but I also don't want to undereat as some animal studies have shown links between underfed pregnant mothers and progeny with a higher risk of metabolic syndrome (I'm a risk-averse scientist). I don't track super carefully, but I've done this a long time and am willing to ballpark my intake to understand my hunger variations and keep my weight going up at a healthy rate.
However, this latest update stinks. Going to previous meals tab to quickly repeat a recent meal was very efficient before the recent update. I know I've had the same lunch today as I did a week ago, but it takes so long to function that I believe the app has frozen and just close it. The previous meals search was what made my quick and easy ballpark estimates quick and easy. I'm not going to use lose it for the rest of my pregnancy if this issue persists more than a week. As it is, I'll end my excellent days tracked record because I don't have time or the desire to keep using this app with this lag.

This app has helped changed my life and give me the discipline I needed to over come my eating disorder if bulimia! I had this disorder for almost 10 years and I had gained so much weight. Many people think you can not gain weight by being bulimic but you do! Your body is so malnourished and you have no concept of how to correctly eat. This app has allowed me to be extremely mindful of what I put in my body! It has allowed me to fully control my urge to eat for depression reason versus taking the best care of my body! Through this process I have lost 5 llbs within about 2-3 weeks of using the app. My weight is dropping quick but I think my biggest thing was that my body was now getting good foods inside of and I am no longer purging my food which has been about 43 days!!! Which is major for me because I would purge 3-4 times a day and eat enough for 3-4 people at each meal! I am so thankful for this app! I have had 3 friends/fan sign up and we are able to keep track and support each other! I love this app and highly recommend it to you! 🎉🎉🎉👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😊😊😊😊 Food is NO longer my fear! I control it! When I want to treat myself I do! I make room for it and I enjoy every last bite and feel good about it!

Counting calories USED to be boring!!

First of all, i am a 57 y/o grandmother who wants to stay fit. I have never liked to count calories. I have Hypothyroidism which slows down my metabolism PLUS my age. Double whammy! Ugh! I always think I'm eating good as far as calories go, but when you record every single food item going into your body, it adds up AND FAST!! So with counting calories and being active (which I always have been), I have lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks. My goal is a 15 lb loss. 5 down and 10 to go!!! At first it's hard to get used to, but you learn. If I can do it anyone can! Be sure when you search for foods, that the calories recorded by others are correct. I have seen some that are way off. Just look at the nutritional info and record your own. You can look up each ingredient on a search engine if you are preparing something not listed. You can also keep up with steps throughout the day. My goal is more than 7000. That's not a problem for me. I usually get close to 10,000 which earns me 'extra calories!! Yay!! If you so choose, the app will remind you to log food intake in case you forget. This app makes counting calories easy and fun!! Try it! What do you have to lose. Ha! Pounds of course!! Good luck!
