What's New in Version 6.2.1
Lose It! on the Apple Watch makes it easy to take a quick look at how you're doing today and this week. The Lose It! application includes the ability to view today’s calories and today's nutrients as well as how you’re doing overall this week.
Sometimes you need a little nudge to help stay on track towards your goal. Lose It! uses Apple Watch’s notification feature to remind you when you’ve forgotten to track a meal. Better yet, if you don’t have time to log each and every item in detail, you can quickly and easily log just calories directly from the watch. Of course, if now is a good time, you can just tap the ‘Log Meal’ button on your watch and Lose It! on your phone will open to just the right spot, making it quick and easy to track that breakfast!
If you don't have time to log each food individually, you can now quickly add calories to any meal. Just choose the meal, choose add calories, and enter the calories you'd like to save to the meal.

As always, we've fixed issues and made a few small improvements here and there.
Honesty is the best motivator
One day I woke up and decided it was time to start actually getting in shape instead of just lamenting the fact that I wasn't. I knew I had to keep myself honest about what I was putting in my body as part of that process. This app was the best one I found for tracking my intake. Additionally it tracks exercises and let's you set goals. After much hard work and commitment I shed just over 80 lbs in just over 9 months. Did Loseit get me to the gym every morning at 6am? No. But it did keep me motivated to get out of bed and change my life. I'm not done yet. I've set a goal to lose 30 more lbs and with LoseIt's help, I should be there by Labor Day. If you hold yourself accountable, LoseIt is a tremendous benefit to track your progress, but it's just a tracking tool, you have to put the work in. It won't be easy, but you can do it.
Recent performance issues
I have used this app for years, thru many iterations and updates. It is my favorite in this category. However, the recent update introduced some small performance issue. I now get a lot of "white screens" when opening the app or after adding food/exercise. It requires minimizing or closing the app and reopening. It used to be flawless. I certainly hope they resolve this problem, so that this app does not fall into the mass of underperforming apps. It appears many apps providing updates for Apple Watch have hurt their original versions.
Got rid of 20 lb with this app. So useful for training yourself what foods will "eat up" your calorie budget for the day. Would like to have AM snacks & PM snacks. I use it along with South Beach.
Would like to be able to enter a date to check history (i.e, how did I do last Thanksgiving?)
I really miss the "copy meal" feature. So useful if you eat the same breakfast or lunch every day.
