Across the pond and around the world
We're very excited to add support for the U.K., Ireland and Australia. Welcome to the Lose It! Family! If you'd like to see which country your device is set to, you can find the options under Me > More > Language & Region.
For members lucky enough to have the new iPhone 6S and 6S+, we've added 3D Touch support. Just press on the Lose It! icon right on your home screen and you'll get a shortcut to logging food, exercise, and weight.
We've also fixed a few bugs that should make your experience even better. Enjoy!
Best app ever
Amazing app. Got an iPhone specifically for this app because I started using the website. The social integration is so inspiring and really helps motivate when used! Lose it really works if you stick to it :) the app and website continue to get better over time as the creators are truly motivated to make this the best weight loss app/ service. The pro features are great and I love the integration with Fitbit, withings scale and runkeeper among other things!
I've tried losing weight before to no avail. With this app I've already lost 14 pounds in a couple of months! It's helping me learn healthier eating habits by allowing me to track what I eat. And it automatically adjusts my target daily calorie intake as I lose weight. There's a lot of helpful information and motivators. There are features that you only get if you pay for it but I've only used the free version and it's been great.
The most powerful thing you'll do
Tracking what you put in your body is truly a powerful thing to do to bring awareness to what is in your food. I track mostly for the nutrients part like fiber, protein but it really helps focus your attention on calories too. I realized that I was eating way too much healthy fats on my paleo diet and lost 18 pounds just by tracking and reducing fats a bit! Lose it is easy to use and has great reports to geek out on. It's a great tool to be and stay healthy and happy.
