Should you choose to upgrade to MVP, payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. The monthly subscription costs USD 5.99 per month while the yearly subscription costs USD 29.99 per year or USD 2.50 per month. Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. There is no increase in cost when renewing.

Best work out tracker out there

Update: newest version seems to only allow for location tracking to be always on or never. What happened to "allow while using the app"? I don't need the gps tracking on all the time just to kill my battery... It's annoying to have to go into my privacy settings before and after my rides/runs.

This app is perfect for tracking my workouts wherever I go, keeping me on pace, and connecting to friends. In the next update, can you allow for different default settings for different kinds of workouts? I run and cycle regularly and like the 1 mile updates on runs but less often when biking. Id love it of when I select my type of workout it adjusted the voice feedback accordingly.

Almost There....

Overall, app is great, especially considering I'm using the free version. Excellent functionality that does what I need. I have a couple gripes that prevent a 5-star rating:
1) Speed function has a tendency to go wacky if you pause a workout for a couple minutes. When the workout is resumed, the speed reading rarely tops 10mph although my speed is actually in the 18-20mph range. It's not the GPS because my distance is still measuring accurately and my average MPH is calculated correctly. Not sure what the bug is.
2) I despise the "Always On" location service. Enable it during app use only. Once done, or closed, disable it.
Overall, a pretty good app.

Works awesome for me

I'm picking up my level of physical activity after having just gone through breast cancer and radiation. This app, partnered with My Fitness Pal and Fitbit, have been my saving grace. Using the free versions of the apps and I am motivated daily to log my workouts and my walks, runs, and bike rides. It's incredible that all three apps sync. And I'm loving the gear tracker in Map My Run. Highly recommend if you are tired of being sedentary and you want to make positive changes in your life. Get it now!
