Decent, but needs improvement...
The game is fun in the beginning when the player is trying to learn how to play the game and figure out what unit setup counters other unit setups. In order for this game to progress it needs to have multiplayer like the last game (Mechcom 2 -3D Rts). It is imperative that instead of having a system where you swap out the wheels or tracks and the mini guns or cannons make individual units that have there own purpose on the battle field (scout, tank, artillery, helicopters, fighters, bombers, and so forth...). Next, game mechanic tweaks. Add upgrades to buildings making them more efficient in building units or collecting resources. Increase unit cap, having only 20 units makes larger games much more difficult when the AI sneaks behind your lines and destroys your main base. You should change the resource gathering so when you harvest a certain group of resources enough there is less of an income, make it so that you can upgrade harvesters overtime increasing your income rather than having a surge of eco in the beginning of the game and not even 5 minutes later having hardly enough to build a basic unit. Developers, these are my opinions about where you should take the game. But keep up the great work the game has come very far!
The 3rd installation of this game is one of the truest and easiest to use rts games on the mobile market. I love the new free build style compared to the old structure locations, and the pirate faction is interesting, if a little weak compared to the other ai. I love this, but there is a couple changes I would suggest for the next installment. The 20 unit max I understand, but come on, it's very annoying to watch your factories pump out a swarm of troops, then suddenly, nope no more. Also the limit on how many units you can build at ounce is ok, but ounce again we could go without. The building construction limit though is fine, and works. The only other change I would suggest is control groups, I'd like to be able to better micro manage my defenses with my armies.
Thanks to the creators for making a great game
Best mobile RTS I’ve tried
Only played for a few days now, but has me hooked.
I’m a huge RTS fan, with Starcraft and Command and Conquer being some of my favorite.
This game feels like I’m playing their equivalents but on a smaller scale, on my iphone.
If I had an ipad I bet this game would be sick.
Overall, compared to other mobile RTS’, the controls are so fluid and smooth, controlling your army and base is super user friendly, and I can focus on expansion, defense, and building as opposed to getting stuck on glitches, bugs, or poor mechanics like in other games.
Coming from a fellow game designer, great job y’all! Definitely going to keep up with your guys’ work.
