  We've continued to remove clutter from the story page, so you can focus on what matters most when reading in the Medium app: the amazing stories and ideas.
  
  New in this release:
  - We've moved the author byline so it's more integrated with the content of the story.
  - You can now access audio content for a story from the top bar of the story page, which makes it easier to access from any point in the story. Just scroll up a little to reveal the top bar again.
  - Display settings have been moved to the bottom bar of the story page, which makes it even easier to toggle night mode or change the font size while you're reading!

  Well, it’s mid-August and back-to-school season is upon us. Hopefully you’ve continued reading over the summer, but if that’s been a struggle, good news: we’ve made our Continue Reading feature more reliable. You’ll now be able to pick up where you left off in a story more easily than ever before.
  
  If that isn’t enough to get you through your reading list, we’ve dramatically improved our VoiceOver support and will now read through stories all the way through in one go. You can enable VoiceOver in the Settings app, under “Accessibility.”
  
  If you’re still burning the midnight oil working through all of your summer reading, we’re always trying to make Night Mode shine (as dimly as possible). As a reminder, you can enable Night Mode while you’re reading a story from the display settings controls in the top right.
