Fantastic Task Tracking app!
I’m retired now, but I still have a ton of things going on at home, in correspondence, in hobbies, and much more that need to be tracked…just not the same way as I did at work when everything really needed to be time tracked and everything had a hard deadline. Now I have tasks, but most of them can be finished when I get to them, and I can choose when that is, but there’s too many to try to remember everything I have to do. With Meistertask, I can easily add, rearrange, add notes, comments, or photos to my tasks, but I don’t have to time track them unless I choose! It also fit my desire for something only about three levels deep with comments. It’s way more than a To Do list (which is usually 1-2 layers), but way less than a Gantt or major project management tool like I lived on for many years. Best of all, I can find stuff easily to work on and FINISH without having to spend more time searching than doing. I don’t need an app that works with teams, though I’m delighted that this is so team-friendly, as it’s ideal for most teams where not all members are project management professionals. And it’s fully synced on my iPhone 8+ and MacBook Pro! Outstanding design and execution, and great looking on top of it!
Need a real desktop app for offline use
Intuitive, feature-rich, and modern UI. Syncing is not perfect; I added tasks using my Mac to a projevct, and these did not show up in my iPhone, even after logging in and out sevral times over a couple of days. Finally appeared after deleting and addining tasks.
We need real apps for offline use! With the current web only MeisterTask, I have to be logged in to use the app and to sync changes I made using other decvices. I cannot backup to my iCloud drive or my desktop (which should be an option, even if there is no dedcicated desktop app). There is no export option. Really a great product, but would be much better with real desktop and iOS apps.
The best task management App on Mac/iPhone
I have been using this App for 2 months. Previously I had struggled with finding a good app that can do task list, drag and drop for assignments, categorization, easy to use and collaborate on phone/Mac, and beautiful user interface, until Meister Tasks. I have introduced it to all my friends and colleagues. It is the best of its kind, with the same quality as enterprise task management softwares, and free of charge.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
