Missed calls and messages
I've installed this on my iPhone 6s Plus running ios10.2. I've tried using this app so that I can receive calls/text messages on my personal phone that would otherwise just go to my work phone (so that I don't have to always carry two phones). The only time a notification is triggered for this app is if a)I am actively on the phone using it AND b)The app has to be running in the forefront. I don't seem to get any notifications when it is running in the background. So if the phone is sitting down or is in my pocket I miss all notifications. So the only real use I am getting out of this app is being able to launch it and make outbound calls using my secondary work number.
Works for me.
I depend on it all the time. It certainly does what it is supposed to do. I couldn't work daily without it. My biggest complaint is that it is not very reliable on my desktop. I'm often sitting at the desktop and get text messages and it would be much better if I could reply from the desktop rather than having to pick up a phone and sending all the typing out a message. I tried working with Verizon tech-support and they call one time and say it's fixed and never follow up again. It's still not working the way it supposed to be.
I am impressed. I have a dumb phone and an iPod. It's really frustrating to try to text on my flip phone, but this app lets me send and receive messages all from my iPod (when connected to wifi). Of course, messages are shown as unread on a device regardless of whether or not I've seen them on the other device, and there's about a minute delay with texts sometimes. But so far it hasn't failed me. I was using text plus, which is ridiculously slow, full of bugs, and undependable. Very good!
