Unneeded updates

WHY? did apple techs( geeks ) mess with something that worked great. After the first of two updates to excel. I couldn't use my excel because it wouldn't allow me to sign in. WHY? do I need to sign in to anyplace? When I first loaded excel my learning how to use it was fun. And I sat for hours working at learning what excel could do for me. Now I am thinking delete everything to include excel. Undoubtedly there is a similar app. out there and it's time to look for one to replace excel. Unless apple turns back time and gives us back excel from two updates ago. It's days are numbered on my i pad. This is the first time I've taken time out of my busy life to write a why did you you do that review. But because what was once a very helpful excel app. Is no longer so. I had to delete a large amount of record keeping because excel wouldn't let me in. I kept track of my food purchases, gas expenditures, bill paying, etc. It is now all lost because apple techs. updated me out of my record keeping. Which now makes my life harder thank you very much...

Updated 2.0.0, 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 crashing

This app was working fine prior to the last two updates! Now I get an error stating 'this version of Microsoft Excel can't run VBA macros'. Again, they worked fine before these last two updates! My sheets are locked and only have check boxes (that were there before but couldn't be checked, which was tolerable), but now they are VBA errors. The app crashes and when reopened keeps trying to load the last sheet and then crashes again. Ugh... Please fix this ASAP!!!

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app on both iPads. Still does the same thing. I'm aware that VBR features were not usable in the previous versions. However, they didn't make it crash and get locked in an endless loop. The check boxes would just be there and I would update them on my desktop, but now they have error triangles so something is obviously different in what you changed!

I tried everything you suggested for resetting, deleting and re-downloading app. with each version and let's me open spreadsheet, that was working fine prior to 2.0.0 version, but then starts getting sluggish and ultimately crashes and keeps opening same workbook when try to reopen only to crash yet again!

Yes, I have hidden rows. I have drop down menus that pull from hidden rows. Again, this all worked fine before 2.0.0 update.

Can no longer use

Total junk since I updated about a week or so ago. Just downloaded the newest "update" and it still didn't fix anything. So annoying.

Since the update, it has ruined 2 files. Saying "We're sorry, we couldn't open your workbook. It's possibly corrupt or using a file format that's not supported." So I've had to completely rebuild just for it to happen again. Before it "couldn't open the workbook" the first time, when I went to click on a particular cell to input data, it would either not select anything all OR it would select a cell about 10 rows above it, never getting the one I want. My boyfriend didn't download the update and his is working completely fine, as mine was before. I had to delete the app because it's useless now.
