Customer Reviews

Mint user since 2012

Mint is the perfect tool to keep track of 100% of your finances. Want to track your net worth and credit for free Mint is perfect. Saving goals, monthly budgets, pay bills, get reminded about bills. It's customizable and intuitive. It has gotten better over time. It used to be that you struggled to keep all your accounts synced, mint has improved the reliability. Of 20+ accounts, maybe one or two need to be fixed a year. Even your Lowe's card now syncs with Mint. I only give it 4 stars because I wish I could pay to remove recommendations but that really isn't that annoying, it's less like a ad and more like an adviser showing you tools on how to save money. One thing I wish the app could do that you can do on the web version is reset the monthly rollover budget for a category. Like if you went over on groceries last month and you need headroom this month, I have to go to the web version to reset the budget to zero without the overage carrying over from last month. Good job mint team! Can't wait to see how you integrate mint and turbo tax in the future.

Nice Updates!

7/15 update:
I'm still on board with combining mint bills into the mint app. I thought it was a great idea to combine the two. I'm willing to give the developers time to work out the kinks. Although I do find myself getting frustrated when I can't trust the syncing process.

4/28 update
Love the new bill layout. Not sure what's going on with my new Att phone accounts. I have trouble with them every month. I'm tired of trying to reconcile them each month so I deleted them and added them manually since the amount is the same each month.

Also, I have ditched the iPad app. Going to the Mint website on my iPad has proven to be more valuable than using the iPad app.

Previous review
I love the new integration with mint budget and mint bills. In the past I had to manage two apps and now I can see all my finances in one place.

I'm still electing to give it 5 stars despite the few hiccups I experience daily using the app. I realize it can be very difficult to keep ones accounts in sync each and every day and besides the app is free to use.
Mint Developers, great job! Combining the two apps saves me a great deal of time each day!

I use this all the time!

I have been using mint for years to manage my finances. It is so much easier to link my accounts and see them in one place than having to log into several different accounts to manage my spending. It only takes a few minutes to check if I am on track, and the auto-categorizing transactions make it so easy. When my friends are looking for a better way to budget, I always recommend mint.
