Best Personal Finance App For IOS users

I switched to Apple products from Microsoft almost 2 years ago. Loved my MAC and was happy when I made the switch. Then began 2 years of accounting horror and misery. My meticulous record keeping using Quicken became a nightmare. I purchased Quicken for MAC. What an absolute piece of trash! Intuit should be ashamed to market it. Next I tried Ibank. Somewhat better than Quicken but still difficult and not user friendly. Finally heard raves about Mint money. Liked using it and spent a lot of time getting my records on it. Then discovered that it prints no reports. WHAT??? Mint money might be ok for a teenager keeping track of their allowance or for someone who doesn't file tax returns. Otherwise it is useless. I was just about ready to buy a computer just for Quicken because I was at my wits end with getting something decent on my MAC and IPhone. Finally I discovered Moneydance. I have been rescued from this nightmare. I am still getting used to it but it is doing the job. Highly recommend it to those who want a financial system that gives you the info you need to see where you are and to prepare your taxes. Very customizable and lots of reports. YEAH!!

It's like they left it here to die

I love the desktop version of MoneyDance. So when I finally purchased an iPad Pro I went looking for a companion app. I was able to sync and everything. There's no split screen functionality, there's no reminders, nothing. Just your accounts and the register. I thought it would be similar to the desktop feature and have most of the options.

I then thought to check to make sure I downloaded the correct one. It is the only one available. I then saw the date. This thing hasn't been updated since 2014! If you aren't going to update the app and make it useful then don't have it. I'd happily pay for a well maintained iOS version. One which has quite a few features similar to the desktop app. NOW I'm thinking about looking for something else to use. I just don't want to because I have to import all my data into something new.

How about, update this app, get it looking pretty with some added features and charge a fee for the full version. I'm sure people will want it. OR if you don't want to maintain the app, remove it from the store please. Save us the trouble of going through the steps of downloading and synching only to find out there aren't a lot of features and it doesn't work quite like the other iOS apps.

Screwed all my financial records up ... Don't try to fix something that ain't broke

I have been using moneydance since 2011. I have (soon to be had) it on my desktop as well as the app on my phone. I have always done program updates... Well, this last time it is trying to have me "upgrade" and has screwed everything up! Not only are my bank accounts misplaced in the loan category, but it will not sync to my phone now is also telling me that I have to pay for it again or it will lock me out after so many transactions! I have contacted customer support about this and their answer was that I need to pay for it and I have to get "drop box" to sync... WHY... I bought all apple products and have never had a problem with things syncing automatically and I have already paid for your program and it was working fine before they tried to "upgrade" me when all I wanted was a software update!!! Sad thing is I had to give it at least one start to get the word out! It's just to bad they are FORCING people to spend more money and FORCING this update! It was working fine... Don't try to fix something that ain't broke!
