Decent, not perfect, app which is currently broken

I have had this app for years on an iPad 2. While it wasn't perfect, I played it nearly every day. I just bought a new iPad Air 2 and am disappointed to see that the dice, chance cards, community chest cards and the houses/hotels are all black on the screen. You can't tell what you rolled until the play-by-play verbiage appears.

By the way, it doesn't cheat. If you think it does you are hoping on properties with a low percentage of hits. Get the light blue, maroon or orange sets and you will win. Ideally get them before any AI has a set with hotels and mortgage everything else you have to place as many houses on them as you can. This works on two fronts: 1) You earn higher rents and 2) the AI are intimidated and will not build houses because they want cash on hand in case they need to pay your rent. Also... Buy the other properties and use them as trade bait to get your set or to keep the final property out of the hands of an AI. Always mortgage a property before trading it away and always start by asking for more cash and property than you think you can actually get. The AI has a habit of overvaluing things. You can also sucker them into giving you most of their money by selling two of the three properties in a set. Lastly, note that the AI will never give up their last $200 cash in a trade.

The AI players are too easy

It becomes apparent quickly that the AI runs on a very specific value system for properties, especially on the most difficult settings. With this in mind, it's easy to predict what deals would appease the computer players with minimal cost. The AI never challenges you. They don't take other people's standings into consideration or will notice if you desperately want a certain property. To the AI, all the properties are worth only a fraction more of their original price and do not increase the price of a property depending on how many properties an opponent has on the set. I swear, I was able to trade Baltic Avenue, Vermont Avenue, and both utilities to acquire Broadway on the hardest difficulty setting! My AI opponent had no properties on the sets I traded with him and I was able to acquire both purple properties! The AI needs some common sense pronto!
Space also can be an issue with this game. Why does a game of monopoly need to take a whole GB? I'd suggest doing away with the other 3D sets because they don't add much to the game.
On the positive side, tabletop multiplayer works well and is fairly easy to use. An option to play in a 2D top-down perspective would be nice though. Online multiplayer would be great as well if you can not fix the AI.
Monopoly is one of my all time favorite board games, but $9.99 is too much for an incomplete game. Hold out for a sale if you are interested in playing the tabletop mode.

House Rules Don't Stay and You Can't Change in mid-game with AI

I play Monopoly on my iPad a lot but there are a few things that bug me. The House Rules DON'T stay and you don't know when they will revert to the default settings except for charging the iPad. Then I know the rules will definitely revert back to defaults. But they also revert from game to game; just not every game so you have to look before you start every game. I would be deep into a game and land on Free Parking but get no money. That's when I remember to look at the House Rules and at that point I have to abandon the game because you can't change the House Rules once the game starts. If the programmers want to keep stats they should keep stats for number of abandoned games. That should tell them something. With the iPad, the dice and cards are black so you don't know what either says until the computer moves you or money changes. On medium the AI makes dumb trades. It will trade 2 "monopoly" properties for 2 of your "non monopoly" properties. To get rid of pop up words choose no on "do you want to tutorial" option. The AI makes dumb trades. It is really easy to beat the AI. Even though the cards and the dice favor AI you can beat it by marketing your property properties and then when you get the cash unmortgage the old properties.
