This app was created by McKee-Pownall Equine Services for horse owners as a resource for information on equine health care and veterinary medicine. It provides answers to commonly asked questions about equine health management and veterinary care, divided in intuitive groupings that make it easy to find the information you are looking for. In addition, there are sections covering what is normal and what constitutes an equine health emergency. There are "how to" videos available for performing common procedures, such as applying a foot bandage, and educational videos of our veterinarians performing and explaining various procedures. Interesting case studies illustrating key health concepts are provided.

Great source for equine 'must know' info

I've had this app for quite a while. It is a convenient single-source for the basics a horse owner must know. It hasn't been updated in a while. Would like to be able email or print some info that I'd like to post on the tack room wall, such as instructions for injections, vitals signs, etc.

Basic and different climate

Pretty good. Lots of good info. Just not enough.
There are some regional differences. Like no info about hives. I don't know why Canada shows thrush mainly in the central sulcus and here in so Cal we see more on the sides. ( maybe couldn't find a case for the photos?)
Also, I've noticed many other authors think scratches is linked to moist conditions, but it is very dry here and Friesians especially get lots of it anyway.

Informational : has normal and irregular behavior and action list and how to videos on equine service ect.
