I expect better from NBC

Don't get me wrong, you have to get the app, but manage your expectations. The sports lineup is great, until you want to watch something. Then say a few prayers. The Olympics was terrible. I wanted to watch a live soccer match, and mine was the only one that had a glitch (Arsenal v Southampton 10 Sep 16 -- you guys stink at apps BTW). So I'm writing this review. Terrible technical service. Only redeeming value is the replays. Come ON!!! NBC: fix your malfunction immediately. You're better than this.

UPDATE - missed the entire second half on 27 Nov. You guys stink at your jobs. Why is it showing a replay from the Watford game when I select the Arsenal game that is supposed to be live. This app, and all who work on it are an embarrassment. Clean house and hire some professionals from Fox Sports Go or ESPN App. This is just terrible and is not a fluke. Is nothing being done to correct it? Your inattention to the app during the olympics should have been enough to wake you up.

UPDATE - (3 Dec 16) I'm going to keep doing this. Once again the app crashes during the Arsenal game. On all devices. When will NBC grow tired of its own incompetence. I wish another network had the Premiership. Whatever happened to an IT department that knew how to correct deficiencies in their own app!?!? Bush league. Laughable. Truely an embarrassment.

Great NBC Sports Apps!

I can't believe all these negative comments about the NBC Sports apps. I have been watching both NBC Sports and Sports Gold (even when it was the PAID Tour de France app) for years now, and I love them both. I've been a Chelsea FC fan since I lived in London. I just watched Eden Hazard's and Marcos Alonso's and Diego Costa's goals again on my iPad and they were even more enjoyable -- far sharper -- than when I saw them live on my HDTV yesterday!

And the breadth of sports on these apps is amazing! I love watching Formula 1 and the Triple Crown and a dozen other sports both on my iPad and on my Apple TV. And I can choose just highlights or full replays of the entire broadcasts! The only sports app I spend more time watching is MLB At Bat. And NBC Sports works perfect all the time, year after year!

And I've been on Time Warner Cable (now Spectrum) the whole time! No problems. TWC doesn't have deals with some networks, but NBC is not one of those. Love this app!

The tin standard in sports streaming apps

My goodness, y'all need to look at literally any other sports streaming app to see ways you can improve your setup. It's bad enough that whenever you launch or switch to ANY channel or game, you need to sit through the same set of commericals. But even when you're sticking to the same channel during, say, halftime, it doesn't actually switch to the live coverage either until a few minutes into the next half of play, or until you go back to the menu, re-enter the channel, and have to sit through another set of commercials! It's gotten to the point where I find myself setting an alarm at the end of a first half to make sure I re-enter the channel at the right moment so as not to miss anything. The Fox Sports Go app is so much better than this app, that it makes me dread the fact that NBC has the broadcast rights to the Premier League through 2022. They don't screw you over with endless sequences of the same commercial, and shocker, they offer features like PiP. Please, get it together! I would love it for this app to work, but instead all it does is bring me agita every weekend morning.
