Removed the annoying "Rate me" dialog was being showed at startup time. It is only to be meant to be shown every 15 days. I offer my deepest apologies for for this!

Crashes viewing files

This app could be really useful, but on my iPad (iOS 6.1.2), it always crashes when you: go to "Newsbin files", select an image file (JPG or PNG), tap "View", select "Quick Look", tap "Done", select another image file, and tap "View". This bug makes it far too tedious to view preview images in order to select binaries for download.

This should be one of the primary use-cases for this app. Imagine if selecting "Newsbin files" showed thumbnails of all the image files you had downloaded, allowed you to mark the ones you were interested in, and then allowed you to download any binaries with the same subject with a single tap.

The lack of attention to quality and workflow gives me the impression that this app is little more than a hobby for the developer.

Great app but abandoned

I really wanted to remotely administer my newsbin server on ios so I risked buying this for 2.99 in January of 2017. Unfortunately the developer stopped updating the app in 2013. A look at the apps facebook page shows they were initially enthusiastic about development but that waned when the target market was too small and the app wasn't earning much. Too bad because its a great app and only needs some updating.

It works however the functionality is limited. Ios gives the "this may slow down your device warning." Also as others have mentioned you cant view files. I have found its stability iffy. It crashes periodically. The download list doesn't populate.
Despite all that the basic functionality still works. You can search using newsbin's search service and add files to download to newsbin's que.

Interestingly the developer is still developing ios apps so maybe they will revisit this one someday. It seems like a few fixes would make this a five star app.

Stability issues

Having issues with crashing, especially when trying to load an NZB file, but when it works.
I run IP phones over my network so it is nice to be able to throttle down my downloads remotely when I need to make/answer a call. It is also nice to remotely know the progress of my download queue. For this is works well.
