Very fun but expensive
This game is really fun. There are 6 different places to visit (7 including the airport) and each place has a few shops, clubs, jobs, restaurants, etc. to visit. So overall there are a fair amount of places to visit although they could expand.
The main idea of the game is that you arrive in NYC. You get an apartment but have to pay weekly rent. You have to find a job to earn money. With your extra money you can spend it on items, food, entertainment, clothing, etc. You can also talk to people to make friends and eventually find true love if you want to. You have to take care of your needs (hunger, rest, hygiene, bathroom, etc) just like the sims.
The overall game doesn't go a whole lot in depth and the game is really short for $5. It's really only worth $1-2. However I really felt like I was in the city when playing and it has a decent amount of replay value. They could always make more locations and more jobs would have been nice. There's only like 4 jobs in this game. Also I would like to see the other night games such as Paris, las vegas, tokyo, and miami nights in the app store.
good game! > problem solution!!
KK i know what i said before about it being impossible to get past ben, but i did the game over again, and have found the solution! unfortunately, you have to start the game all over again. i know its crummy, but thats the only way u can get past it. so, once u get to the part where that guy tells u that u need to help out people to increase ur soul points, and afterwards he says make ben happy(make him happy, but DONT kiss him), and then u go back to that guy in central park who told u to increase ur soul, ben sends a message that says to come back to the apartment. DONT GO BACK TO THE APARTMENT!! go around town and increase ur soul, help EVERYONE out, then go to the guy in central park. Make sure you break up with ur "highschool sweetheart" James before going back to the apartment. then, put on the new outfit ben got you, and then finally meet him out in the balcony. There, you should talk to him, get his number, kiss him, makeout with him, then ask to go steady. he will accept, and then he should say something about kicking out ur roomate. Tah-dah! you have gotten past that ben part!!! i hope im helping everyone out!! ;)
This game killed my last two apps
When I first downloaded this game, it was on my 2nd iTouch, but soon after it ran slower and eventually died.
It was replaced by my old 8gb iTouch which we all thought had died for good but apparently the final blow was really this app. So, I got a new 32gb iTouch for Christmas and emmediately restarted playing this app.. and the last time it wasn't constantly showing the apple and wouldn't merge with or get charged by any of our computers, I had completed my 3rd mini-quest to make people around Ben's go-to happier. For the record, it had been out in the cold in the mail and I took my 8gb downstairs with my treadmill where the temperature was drawing in ice & humidity. Thanks to some slick talking from my dad, I got my 32gb iTouch replaced. I've been instructed by my parents not to redownload this app since they're not willing to buy me another iTouch, at least for a couple years, and I NEED some of my other apps. I'll really miss this game, it definitely being my second-favorite next to 'Lose It!' since it made me feel like I was in New York doing neat stuff and not here doing less stuff every day; in fact, if I were any crazier at the moment, I'd moarn everybody that I best-friended(, mainly the police officer who was my first kiss.)
