Really Good GTD App!
I've been striving to find the perfect GTD App to use. Unfortunately the perfect one doesn't exist. However, Nozbe is the best of what is out there. Great user interface, well thought out features, simplicity of design, good customer interaction, and consistent app development make for this an exceptional app / service. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to implement GTD into their workflow. Take a week or so to work with it and find out for yourself. While there are several things that GTD purists will say is missing, after using it you will forget about "needing" these features. Again, the simplicity of this app is the key feature and once you start working with it, you will realize that most of the other apps out there have "bloat" that you don't need. Don't get me wrong, this app is feature rich and offers a lot. This is the first GTD that I've used that I felt comfortable with and didn't start looking for a new app after using it for only a week. Solid performance and appreciate the development team for all the timely interaction. Don't bother going anywhere else, this app is it!
Promising. But not perfect
The design of this app and the web version is pretty good and could enable you to implement GTD smoothly, except for one important issue: the flaky behavior might cause you to spend too much time worrying about you system instead of getting things done! In particular sync issues will cause changes you made to a task revert , comments that disappear and reappear, and contexts that double up! In one case I had a task that had the same context twice !
I do hope the developers can fix these issues and make this a great app, but it is still quite usable I it's present state .
Edit: Upgraded to 4 stars because even though it can be flakey I have never lost a task due to a glitch.
Nozbe is the real thing
As an avid GTDer and disciple of David Allen I have tried various task managers over the years and thought I'd found the one. Called Action Lists it was very good but lacked a good web interface and the incredible flexibility that Nozbe has of sharing task with others, sending e-mails, drag and drop moves and numerous others great features.
This really does capture the essence of GTD and has a good website with tips and tricks.
I only subscribed 2 days ago and am already feeling much more in control and productive again.
