Used to be easier to share reservation
I’ve been using this app for years, but recently they’ve made it harder to share the reservation with others without them “registering” with opentable. My workaround is to just forward the reservation email opentable sends to me, but this is not ideal. If I’m booking a reservation for dinner with clients, the last thing I want is them to get a sales tactic sent to them so they can have the reservation info. Come on opentable, I thought you were better than this!
Vincenzo’s is fabulous!!!
We haven’t eaten here in years but what a delight! The atmosphere is so nice and the service is top notch. Cocktails were well made and fabulous....at last a traditional Caesar made properly table side....I had forgotten just how good a Caesar can be and the main courses were delectable. Finishing with one of the lightest and most delicious Soufflés topped off a truly wonderful dining experience. All I can say is we will return soon.
Removed the “add to calendar” option
This baffles me. Going out to a restaurant, there are a few things that are important - which restaurant, the address, the day, and the time. In the past, there was a button to hit that would put all of this information in my calendar. I wouldn’t even call it a feature, as it’s the most obvious thing in the world. Think of it like assuming that a calculator app has a plus sign button. If it lacks that plus sign button, you know the developer made a serious error.
Guess what, the OpenTable people made a serious error. How is this even a thing?
