One of the best calculator applications for scientists and engineers
I am using PCalc from its earlier version, that I chose initially mostly because of the support for RPN. Through all the releases I can see the continuous improvement of the application and great care from the developer to stay on top of iOS releases and improve the application for a scientist or engineer like myself. Also, I personally e-mailed one of my concerns to the developer and obtained immediate support.
a wonderfully useful program
As an engineer, I’ve used the Mac version for several years in RPN mode … it’s a worthy successor to my ancient HP11 calculator. And as an international traveler, I find the quick currency conversion incredibly useful too.
Then there’s the all important earth shattering cosmic constant, 42! (speaks for itself)
The author has kept adding new useful features year after year, making Pcalc a great long term value, 5 Stars!!
Long-time standout application
I have used PCalc on multiple platforms since the Classic Mac OS days and this version continues to be an essential tool for anyone who needs more flexibility and power than the native calculator provides. The customizability in particular makes it a great tool for simplifying repetitive calculating tasks.
