Good but widget could use more improvement

I like this app. After the crash (which was rather annoying and frustrating since I paid a good amount of money for this system) I found the widgets improve functionality to be nice. But there is still room for improvement.

For one thing, a dimmer option in the widget would be great. It's nice I can now turn things on and off but it's a pain to have load the app all the way to dim my lights a bit.

Speaking of off, it would be nice if the widget could tell if your lights were on and off so that you could more easily direct them.

And one last improvement (though I'm not sure this is possible) would be to allow more options to be added for the widget. My phone only allows 4 saved recipes at a time while my ipad allows about 6. I get that space is an issue but why not make the widget able to be a bit longer so that those of use with multiple lights in multiple rooms can have those all on our widget AND have the 'all off' button there too?

Dimmer in the Widget

After the new update had fixed the crashing issue, the app is back to being useful again. It used to be so frustrating to have to unlock your phone, find your app, open the app, wait for the app to connect to your bridge, and then turn on or off your lights. But now there is a widget which makes this whole lights on/lights off process so much quicker. I would love for the widget to contain a small sliding bar underneath the scenes to dim the lights that are involved with the scenes. Granted, within the widget you wouldn't have the ability to dim individual lights, but a dimming feature in the widget would be priceless!

App designer should be fired

Downloaded version yesterday that was totally broken crashed upon opening. Today I download the latest version and while it does open it doesn't find a light(s) that previously was part of the group, if I change the zigbee channel and blink lights it clearly blinks the one that says "light may not be reachable!" Not to mention the hours I've spent setting up scenes in my theater, only 3 lights in any given scene at this point (I have 6 BR lights and 2 light strips). This has so much potential but I've dealt with nothing but an absolutely horrendous app going on 2 years now. Please fire app design team and hire a competent firm. Home automation is growing by the second, it's only a matter of time before the Hue name is a flash in the past. Brutal, horrible, what good is a cool smart bulb that is dumb as a box of rocks?!
