Ratings and Reviews
I was desperate for a solution to quickly make photo collages. There are a great many apps for Mac OS and IOS out there. I specifically needed a Mac OS solution. I did about 3 hours of research and selected PicFrame.
I have been using it for about an hours making 4 collages. I am very impressed. While the program is not overkill as many other apps try to be, giving you every minute feature, this app simply hits the mark dead on. Incredibly simple while giving you all the needed features and leaving out fluff. I created my first collage in than two minutes, simply dragging and dropping my photos directly from Apple Photos. No need to export first. The pictures are completely repositionable within each frame, you can adjust zoom, and easily change border color. There are a ton of templates and you can change templates without having to reinsert photos. The photos are simply carried over in the new template and you can easily remove them if needed. You can save projects also. Saving a project as a jpg is super simple. Also, the app is dynamic on image placement and will automatically adjust border size in response to your photo placement.
Seropusly the best money I have spent on a Mac OS app in a while. Solved my needs immediately.
Not able to print 2x3 or 3x4 pics
I bought this app yesterday. I am a scrapbooker and have read great reviews of how this app is fantastic for printing 2 2x3 or 3x4 pics on 1 4x6 paper size. Great for project life ( so i thought). I installled it on my Mac ( most current IOS) and tried a collage. Much to my dismay, it will not print a 2x3 or 3x4 on my Cannon Selphy CP1200. The pictures are way to large so only a 1\4 at most prints. The aspect ratios were changed to the correct size so that the pics would be either 2x3 or 3x4. I tried saving as a jpg and resizing, again the pic was to large and only a 1/4 printed. I have tried their FB page with no luck and see that others have had a similar issue with no response. I would not get this if you are trying to print small collage pics from a Mac. Not only is the app useless but their customer service seems to be lacking as well :(

Hi, I would recommend saving the PicFrame to a JPG first, and then opening the JPEG on your Mac in Preview and printing from there.
SO SO BAD
Another failed attempt with your app. Paid $7.99 and there's no option to rotate the photos, can't see the size of the cells when dragging to create a uniform template, when selecting share the photo cannot be shared to a shared album within iPhotos, and the same goes for attempts to save. So that's a total of almost $14 wasted on a product that doesn't work. I had the same experience with the iphone version and it doesn’t work either. The app crashes, you can’t save items, when attempting to upload a series of collages it either comes up blank when trying to save or only draws the first item that was created. Very frustrating when trying to create 20+ items. Don’t waste the cash on this or the iPhone version. If I could rate a zero I would have

Hi, that's definitely not the experience we would expect from PicFrame. We do have plans to add rotate to the Mac version. As for the iPhone version, it would be great if you could get in touch via email so we can work out what is happening, as this is not a typical experience for it. Most people have been using PicFrame for many years due to its feature set and reliability so we do take these reviews seriously.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
