Piece of junk
I don't know how they think their app should be, but what I saw is that it pumps out ads all the time, even I didn't play a single round. What's more, it might fail when loading ads and when that happens it give me a white screen and sometimes causes my iPhone a black screen. I used to love the game and even purchased some plants and other items, but I would say now they are ruining the game. New worlds are not interesting, they just gave zombies some new power and created some new plant to deal with it, and finally there are more and more plants but there is no logic behind them. And in endless mode, after maybe 100 rounds, you will find there are too many zombies and the app will consume all the power of your device and everything get into a slow mode, and might even take more than 20% of your battery for just one round. If all things mentioned above only happens on my old iPhone 5s, I might think it is because my phone is old, however, it doesn't become better on my new iPhone 6s Plus. And I just experienced a white screen and than a black screen, which I have never met when using other apps, and had to force a restart of my phone before I write down this review. I don't know why this app can still have such high rate, I thought the app's user experience department was mad when they push me endless ads and don't even give an option to purchase a no-ads version.
I love this game! It's the only one I play daily (to get the daily piñata rewards). I've been a fan since the original PvZ. However, I agree with a few of the other reviews. Some of the levels are ridiculously hard...impossible even, unless you use power-ups....which, unless you win them in piñata, you must buy. Also, the plants for sale are getting ridiculously expensive! $6.99 for a virtual plant? I haven't seen anything new to buy with gems either. Funny how I've been winning a large amount of gems recently. More so than when there were plants to buy with them.
Finally, YES!!!! A new world was just released! I've been playing it for the last few days. Savoring it. This morning, I was on day 6 or so...had won two of the world's plants AND bought an old plant that was re-released for purchase with gems (what else would I do with the gems). This evening, I tried to play it and there was a glitch. It says I've completed 0/16 days and I've lost the plants from Jurassic World that I had won. I also DO NOT have the sweet potato plant I bought with gems. I'd rate the game lower than 4 stars for this, however I have loved playing this game and I a hoping Popcap will quickly resolve this issue.
Welcome to Jurassic Park!
Howdy folks! Welcome to another taco-hunting, time-traveling, adventure! This time, we're exploring the Jurassic Marsh! And it's not just cave-zombies we're dealing with. Dinosaurs are also on the loose! These dinos push zombies closer and closer to your lawn (one of them even sends zombies in the back of your defenses and turns them into potentially strong versions of prospector zombies)! Luckily, we have new plants to aid us in this prehistoric era. A magic plant, called perfume-shroom (no I'm not making this up) hypnotizes dinosaurs to fight against the zombies (think of it as a hypno-shroom designed for dinosaurs). In addition, a new peashooter called primal peashooter pushes zombies back a block every one or two shots. Lastly, we have a new nut, called primal wallnuts, which has a fast recharge so you can plant multiple ones instantly. Overall, the world brings a decent challenge. The dinosaurs make great enemies and great allies at the same time! The new plants have great potential and powerful abilities (especially the perfume-shroom)! Great job! Keep up the good work! And keep on hunting for that taco!
