What's New in Version 1.6.6
Today’s maintenance update adds support for macOS High Sierra.
The app is near worthless on high sierra. It will only load a few of the most recent articles. Articles saved while the app is open appear twice. It randomly crashes. Please fix asap.
1.6.6 adds High Sierra support, drops everything else
This update is described as a maintenance update that adds support for High Sierra (and that’s all), but it also requires High Sierra, meaning that older versions of the OS will no longer get updates for this app.
Why? Is this necessary?
What critical features does High Sierra have that Pocket now uses that make it unworthwhile to allow older versions of the OS to run the app?
Latest update added support for High Sierra, but also seems to have removed support for older versions of macOS! Not okay.
