Useful for iMessages

I use Powershot all the time for iMessages to clip and send photos to my kids or my wife. This utility allows me to select a picture or portion of the screen and capture it. Once you capture something, you can either save as a .png file on your computer or paste it into a program. In my case, I just capture and paste immediately into iMessages. If you are familiar with the snipper tool in Windows, this program is similar. Not as versatile, doesn’t have a free draw tool for annotation, but for simple annotations (squares, circles, arrows, text) it does the job.

It doesn’t work and I can’t get rid of it.

I bought and downloaded Powershot 1.5 a few days ago, and today I wanted to use it, but it won’t open. I did a search hoping I could delete it since after multiple attempts, it is obviously not working. I can’t delete it because when I try to move it to the trash or use EASY FIND to find and delete it, it won’t let me delete it. It give me a message that says I can’t delete it because it is running, even tho I just turned the computer on and (restarted) and have not gone to turn it on. Can someone tell me how to get rid of this piece of junk?

Extremely useful

I use the Mac screen capture all of the time - many times to send something in an email. This required attaching a screenshot file to the email - pasting to the clipboard is SO much easier. I also like the fact that I can resize the capture area before copying/saving, and the annotation feature is very useful.
