What's New in Version 1.1
- Improved gameplay, hidden drones
- Game Center enabled
- Facebook/Twitter sharing.
Although people say the game is simple and boring, it's actually very fun for Space mmo lovers like myself. This game has potential to become the first eve-like space mmo for IOS, and the best one ever. Things that should be considered:
-higher vessel variety
-added controls, abilities, etc. for ships
-added complexity to battles
-an explorable world where both factions have a general starting point(home base) with numerous areas in between
-warp drives for fast travel between different points within an exploitable world
-ranking system by experience
-interactable planets(landable, mining, building up, atmospheric conditions, etc.
-communications(game chat, messaging system
-ability for players to organize into outfits(squads, teams) and fleets(alliances, clans)
-fleet starbases with options to build/upgrade defenses, expand, and even build special structures like sensor posts or weapons platforms
-any other ideas to add to improve the game...
I hope game developers take this into consideration. Countless people would surely join and gameplay would be at better.
Why is there no one else playing now?
I understand that you have to wait for an event, but I've only seen 1 other corvette and the rest being bots. I can't even get a carrier to attack. ;( I'm getting bored. Why doesn't anyone else play?
This game would be way better if I could at least chat with fellow star troopers. So we can get an system going; generals, leaders, squads, squad leaders, ability for squad leaders to give objectives to squads, communicate with general(s), and ask for assistance. Only squad leaders can so we would have more dependability on them. Try to keep them out of harms way. This game has a lot of strategic possibilities, making it more immersive, quite possibly a pc or console game. (start small like "X-box live" and "Playstation arcade" kind of thing)
Love the new Hidden Drones! Just like the bots I was suggesting in my last review. They fire back at you and even defend against your locks like real players would. Now even if you play by your self you have something to do. Its a challenge. Another player even joined in and that made it way more interesting. GameCenter awesome! Maybe for the next update, you should be able to see the GameCenter names of players that you lock onto.
