What's New in Version 1.2.3
• Caps-Lock no longer affects number and special character keys, making its behaviour more consistent with physical keyboards.
finally a tab button!!!
It took me hours of searching online to finally uncover this gem of a keyboard for my mini ipad 2. I like to use the numbers app, and going from cell to cell across in a table really does not work without a tab button. It is hard to believe that none of the other keyboards have this button on the main part of the keyboard, especially for the numbers app. Thank you thank you to whoever made this app- you've just made my life much easier :)
Keycaps don't change with text case
Very annoying that the "keycaps" are always displayed uppercase whether or not text output is upper or lower. Also annoying that quotes, parentheses, brackets etc. always come out in pairs with one keypress instead of as individual characters. Don't know whether I can live with that, just so I can have cursor keys. But will give it a shot.
Pass on this one
Bought it, installed it, tried using it, and (almost) immediately deleted it.
On my iPad Air 2, the keyboard's keys are unusably small. Worse yet, the lettering on the keys -- even with the "Bold" feature turned on -- are very faint. They look to be lower res than the rest of the screen, if that makes sense. (And if that is even possible.)
If you have exceptionally tiny fingers, eagle eyes, and can swiftly lower expectations, this one is for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
I'm really not trying to be too harsh here; I just don't want you wasting your money on this.
My search for a keyboard with cursor keys continues ....
