Why did we build 'Read by QxMD'?
Health care professionals need to stay up to date on the latest medical research and topic reviews to provide optimal care. Unfortunately, the process of content discovery is broken with research artificially compartmentalized by publishers and hidden behind countless institutional pay walls.
At QxMD, we believe that knowledge translation– the process by which new knowledge is incorporated into clinical practice – is an important and unsolved challenge for our health care system. We hope that ‘Read by QxMD’ will be a part of the solution.

What's New in Version 6.12.3
- bug fixes
I can't get any of it.
I am not a medical student, doctor, or researcher of any kind but I am interested in educating myself on medical issues. I have been able to find one or two papers that I could access without credentials but for the most part I could only get a summary. It's more than I might have known before but it isn't enough.
However if you have the backing of a university or an association of some sort this is an exceptional app. I could find every issue I was interested and more quickly than I could on Google Scholar because I don't have to sift through unrelated articles. I would definitely give it a 6 if I could get access to them all like I could to the two papers I could get to. I'm giving this a 3 in the hopes that my problem will get solved.
An excellent feed reader/aggregator for researchers, doctors, scientists
Track articles from any journal/publication or even based on keywords. Add to your own collection, or follow one of the many wonderful topical collections that others have published. Gather your PDFs easily as you go. This is the best app I've found in a long time, and I'm sorry that I somehow missed it in many previous searches.
Been using this app for several years and I love it. This app has definitely increased my access to literature especially while on-the-go. Works seamlessly with my institutional access. Love the weekly emails on most read papers in my field as well. Keep up the great work!
