Why did we build 'Read by QxMD'?

Health care professionals need to stay up to date on the latest medical research and topic reviews to provide optimal care. Unfortunately, the process of content discovery is broken with research artificially compartmentalized by publishers and hidden behind countless institutional pay walls.

At QxMD, we believe that knowledge translation– the process by which new knowledge is incorporated into clinical practice – is an important and unsolved challenge for our health care system. We hope that ‘Read by QxMD’ will be a part of the solution.

Customer Reviews

Great app!

I'm very surprised with this app; useful for students, residents and any other in health care that need to be up to date on papers and scientific work. But a few things are still missing: Dropbox synch to save the downloaded PDFs would be great and, specially if I could use my favorites to organize my collection. I also miss tags to help me categorize my papers. Maybe in the next update! Anyway, I don't live without this app anymore.

Love it!

Vast array of topics and journal articles. Stays current on its own. Constant source of information for personal enjoyment, maintaining a solid knowledge base in one's occupational specialty, or academic use.

Great app

Great to be able to have an app that puts all of the resources available in one location to quickly and efficiently get access to the PDFs. Greatly appreciate this app.
