Customer Reviews

Out of date and lazy

I've used another city guide before for two day visit to Boston a much smaller older city and even in that case I thought the guide wasn't quite thorough enough.

This on the other hand is not full of bugs but also sad in its recommendations of bars that are desperately 'un-hip' and missing incredible gems of architecture such as the new Long Museum.

Having just read a quip about The Chinese Pavillion exhibition being taken down in May 2011 explains a lot. This guide was clearly written some time way way back in 2010?

A little disappointing in Wallpapers lack of commitment to keep their brand credible as an information source in what must be a far simpler publishing platform than print.

Then again a few $$ isn't what it's about, it's more about the time wasted navigating in search of their recommendation which in other cases no longer even exist ( so far 3 out of 6 )
