What's New in Version 1.1
Pretty good app
My four year-old really enjoys is app. I also enjoy spending time watching him learn letters and how to write them. Five dollars is quite a bit for an app and I think a few alterations would make this a five star app more worthy of the five dollar price tag.
1.) Audible content other than the sun screaming when someone clicks the sun picture at the end of tracing letters. It would really help if each letter were introduced in spoken dialogue. The pictures and physical tracing of the letters are great but it would also help the learning process if a child could hear the letters they are seeing and tracing. Audible statement of the whole word being worked on would be good too
2.) The app crashes. A lot. This needs to be fixed.
3.) The scrolling needs to be adjusted. As it is right now a simple flick of the finger sends letters and words scrolling on by. Several letters could be passed with a simple flick of the finger. Young kids don't know the letters yet so it seems perfectly normal to them that L could come after D in the alphabet. It would be better if a swipe of the finger would advance to the next or previous letter instead of just scrolling otherwise good app.
I look forward to the updates to this app.
