Horrendous Customer Service

Was just at the shoprite in Hackensack and asked about eggs that were on sale because there weren't anymore in the dairy case. Customer service woman calls someone and then tells me to go back to where eggs are and someone will bring some. After 10 minutes and no individual or announcement I go back to customer service and tell the same woman no one came and she's like so flippant and unconcerned so she makes another call and sends me somewhere else. So I tell her why are you making me go all over the place and then she catches an attitude and calls me names as if it's a bother to ask her anything. It was embarrassing and I said something back as well. When I get to where the eggs were I see a worker approaching me and I thought he was going to hand them to me so I asked him if he was going to the dairy case and he said 'no'. He said he told the woman from customer service that the bin was set up in the back and to send customers there. So I go to speak with the manager and now I see why this shoprite is so horrible. His general demeanor was standoffish and he was like 'did you get your eggs' and was basically blowing the whole thing off saying 'yeah I'll talk to her'. As if again me speaking to him was an inconvenience. Sad to say I've been a 15 yr shoprite customer and now all I'd ever say about this store is 'Stay as far away as possible!'

No words

Dear Shoprite n Montgomery NY, I am saddened to say that yesterday I was at your store and a fellow shopper found himself in distress. He started passing out,(losing conscienceness and falling to the ground)on line ahead of me. The cashier noticed his problem and asked him if he was going to be okay. Well since he dropped like a rock the answer was no. She helped me grab him but then left to clock out. I was left holding this man up while no one, NO ONE of your staff came to help me. Another shopper came and helped me. A manager came and asked if he fell but offered no other support. I told her as I was trying to hold him from hitting his head on the floor to call 911 he needed an ambulance. She wouldn't do it until the white shirt tie wearing people from the nether regions of the store showed up and said call 911. It was the most disgusting display I could imagine from a store staff. From the cashier who basically walked away to the cashier at the register who offered no help to the managerial staff. Disgusting!!! You all need training. I hope that man is still alive

Web pages and app don't play nice together

First let me say I'm a long-time ShopRite customer and I've always been very happy with the quality and selection of the merchandise, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees, including my home-shoppers. But the digital part of the transaction could be much friendlier. The "regular" ShopRite web page and the ShopRite From Home page should be fully integrated. You can't move your shopping list into your cart. You can't access digital coupons (unless I'm missing something) from the ShopRite From Home page. I have to have both open in order to make sure I know what coupons I'm using. Viewing sale merchandise is not easy the ShopRite From Home page. You can't view the circular, just lists. There are other tasks that are possible, but difficult to find or perform. ShopRite has to get their — stuff — together, literally.
