Fantastic App!

Just wanted to add that I still love Slacker but they've got to get American Samoa added to their locations. I work there a few months a year and sorely missed my Slacker!!!

I've been using Slacker since it first became available on a Blackberry a long time ago. Became a member shortly after I started using it.

Slacker is far superior to it's so-called competitors. You can make up song lists just as specific to groups or genre as you like and Slacker keeps right on it! No annoying adding of stuff "you might like" (if I wanted it I would have added it!) and each time you play the list is different. If you combine 2-4 artist you'll never hear the same things in the same order. I've even heard songs I've never heard before ( and I've been listening to some of these artists for a very long time)!!

Of course if you really want variety Slacker generates some very good lists of it's own.

Pretty much whatever or however you like your music, Slacker can provide... And I've never had any technical problems with it.

Love Slacker!

This app is so worth the $9.99 @ month. I have found that buying CD's is pretty much a thing of the past for me, unless they are not on Slacker like; AC~DC or Garth Brooks. I find myself just not listening to those artists' music anymore. I own all of both of those artists' music but not worth the time to go and look for their stuff in my garage. I wish artists would just get past the pirating issues and take what they can get from companies like Slacker so that their music is being heard. Both of the two artists I mentioned above have made the majority of their money already in their careers.

Slacker Rocks!

Ban Artist is a great feature

When the algorithms of the Internet want to show me exactly the same unrelated artists no matter what input I give, I feel powerless my struggle to find new music. A simple thumbs up or a thumbs down is never enough when it's clearly not learning my personal tastes. A wrong placed thumbs up can send the most well perfected radio station into a state of ignorance that cannot be reasoned with.
Ban Artist gives me the ability to weed out massive amounts of music that I feel is completely unrelated to what I am looking for.
