Various bug fixes
Slacker Slays. Can Only Get Better.
I've tried every major music app out there, and Slacker has always been my favorite. Why? It still feels human. Hundreds of stations curated by people, and they come up with some of the most creative ones I've come across, ones like 'Pop Pool Party,' 'Cocktail Madness,' and 'Boston Strong,' just to name a few. The layout is also easy to navigate, and when there are bugs, the developing team fixes them quite quickly. I'm a Premium subscriber, and it is well worth the $10 a month price. Quality is crisp, clear, and the ability to play songs on demand and create custom playlists is quick and easy. Future enhancements like lyric incorporation, more genre bending, and a crossfade feature would hit the app right out of the park. Keep it up Slacker!
Slacker is outstanding!!!
I have been a Pandora fan for as long as Pandora has been around. Love it. But I was recently at a Tesla dealership and I noticed their radio app for their car was Slacker which I had never heard of. So later I downloaded the app and have been a happy customer every since. I noticed Slacker has a very large selection of hits, I listen to the 80's, and unlike Pandora which I found plays the same stuff all day over and over, Slacker plays all the hits and even the stuff that I haven't heard since the 80's! Awesome and very diverse. I am hooked!!!
I have been pleased with all three levels of the service. It just depends what you need from your radio service. I love the "rewind" and "search" features, but wish you could go back to a previous song you may have skipped too quickly. Is it possible to add support between iTunes and offline slacker too allow offline stations to be stored on a iPod shuffle? Maybe include some kind of requirement to refresh every time you connect your iPod to iTunes in order to verify current subscription?
