Excellent News from the NIH: An independent study that tested and compared 126 snoring apps in the App Store reports "Quit Snoring" as the best!

When this app's recordings were compared with in-laboratory polysomnography data, app snoring sensitivities ranged from 64 to 96 per cent, and snoring positive predictive values ranged from 93 to 96 per cent. Snoring decreased from 200 to 10 snores per hour, and bed partner snoring complaint scores decreased from 9 to 2 (on a 0-10 scale)."

Works very well
Apparantly, I start snoring as soon as I become unconcious. This app works for me. I can leave the phone on the end table, while I sleep, or on the bed and it picks up the snore even if I'm on my side facing away. I've been using vibrate mode for the nudges and it wakes me no problem. Unfortunately, it also wakes my wife, so sleep position training will have to continue while sleeping solo. The history graph and audio recording prove what has happened. Also, adequate tweakable settings allow fine tuning. I am very glad to have discovered this app.
iPhone 6 problem
Update: Doesn't work all night. Emailed developer to ask when an update would fix the problem and was told it isn't a priority.
Wish I could get a refund.
Update: after a month still waiting on an update so this will work through the night. The developers answered quick, but not responding quickly.
Dropping my rating accordingly.
Overall this is a good app. My one problem is that with my iPhone6 it maxes out on nudges at 103, despite having it set at unlimited. The developers have been very responsive, otherwise I'd have given this review 3 stars. But, still waiting after 3 weeks for an update. If that fixes things I'd give it a 5star rating.
I want to like it.
The app apparently does what it says, but the problem is that the vibration nudge makes the phone vibrate 3 long times and there's no option to make it only one or two vibrations. I wake up with the first one and the thing just wakes me up even more every time. I contacted the developers a couple of weeks ago and still nothing...
