iTunes and pandora killer.

I am a college student. So paying an added extra bill wasn't going to help me to party harder. But what the hell. I've tried 30 days trials and I was sold. I took advantage of the student discount. You only pay $5 per month instead of $10. That's pretty sweet deal if you ask me. Anyways, if you travel often or live in a area without good cellular reception. This is perfect music service for you. It BEATS iTunes Radio and pandora combined. Why? Because you can pick your favorite artists and choose their entire library of their tracks to albums. Also you get to discover some amazing new talented artist. If you spent $100 on a headphone or earbuds. Do your self a favor and get small DAC. You'll thank me later for that. Since you can choose the bit rate to 320k. Which is CD ripped and straight to your ears.
Remember. This subscription at $5 per month is really good deal. It's just your lunch money out of one month. It's not expensive at all. Get it now and the best feature is the software. Trust me and get it. They've spent massive amounts of money and investment on their service and apps.

Latest version only...

Clearly there was minimal testing on usability. New GUI is nice but the ability to control and get responsive feedback is spotty. All my songs in the list I am playing are available offline even though I nearly always have 4G access. With previous version, I could quickly advance or go back in the song list, pause, play, etc... Now, it's like the dumb app has to connect to the mother ship or something each time the song is changed manually. I usually use my headphone button for this. The is a varying delay when I use the control to say advance the song. The beep that indicates I double pressed the button is even delayed. Sometimes the song change is immediate up to 15 sec delay! It's maddening when you are running and when you don't hear the beep after say a double press, you don't know it it was acknowledged. Also, the stupid commands are queued up so you get out of synch and you think you didn't press properly. Furthermore, if you use the GUI and press in a different song, you may think you didn't press properly since the response is so delayed. This version is clearly a step backwards. Who cares about how good something looks that is not functional!

Looks great, still missing two things

This is definitely the best looking version, and favorite app, but there's two things I really want to happen that's more important than looks, and doable since other apps have these features. There needs to be a setting for allowing edited/unedited songs, this is one of the few luxuries I pay for, but I'm tired of searching for songs and then they are edited, unless I catch and save them on radio. Second, I want to delete radio stations too, my friends and I make bad decisions some nights that I'm reminded of every time I look at my stations... Maybe drag down search too, plus the improved search kind of seems a little more off than before, which wasn't great to start. Search by lyrics would be nice too, but that seems far fetched considering I can't even delete radio stations.
