Skirmish needs work

First off, I love this game, been playing it for a long time on and off over 3 years. The new skirmish mode adds to it and is interesting but I'm pretty high up now and have no need for level 1 ships or cards - but cannot remove them. I have to scroll thru 100 ships (that I will never ever use again) to get to the one I want - same with the cards. Desperately need an option to remove unwanted ships/cards. Also, why am I allowed to buy level 3 cards when I can't buy level 3 ships and ever use them??? But yet, the "bots" have both level 3 ships and cards which they can use. This needs to be addressed also. Last point, I agree about the $ grab aspect of this game, they nerfed my guys to the point that even if everyone is max 300 skills you cannot win Combat missions without using dilithium, it's literally impossible. What was the point of grinding my officers to the 300 level?? Very frustrating. I still play because it's a good time killer but these things need to be addressed in the next update or I will probably stop logging in.

Was great, until I peaked in skirmish...

Having had this game since they actually charged 3 or 4 bucks for it, I've been impressed with the new updates with skirmish mode, has given the game a reason worth playing again, because farming and exploring and training are insanely repetitive and dull after a while with poorly represented pixel people, but that's part of the charm of this game and I feel the skirmish mode makes up for this.

That is until I entered battle group 4 and wasn't able to keep up with the obvious bots they have running the higher levels. I can't even buy the ships they use, aren't available. I was able to buy level 3 cards, just to never be able to use them.

I sent a few messages and haven't gotten any reply. Looks like they only want you to spend money, and will put in the bare minimum effort to get you to keep playing and possibly spend it. Getting really frustrated at this point, especially when I see how good of a job Timelines is doing by comparison, which has its own drawbacks, but is far and away better than Trexels.

Fun game at first then the flaws kill it

This is a mostly fun game in the beginning if you like to play a few minutes and then give it a break for a long while. It can take hours and days for rooms to upgrade and to collect resources. So a bit a day for a while lets you build a starship and customize your crew to an extent and engage in a skirmish mode.

But that's where the fun ends and the frustration begins. You'll play all the way through tier four in skirmish mode and not get access to ships with level three cards. In fact you may never gain access to ships with level three cards. You'll end up owning so many useless ships you'll want to uninstall the game because of the slow unintuitive scrolling through several hundred ship choices just to find a mediocre one to use. The same goes for scrolling thru cards. It's a chore and not fun. This kills skirmish mode.

Later as you progress you cannot complete missions without using dil and that's balance breaking. So if you wanna spend real money on a frustrating game that does a fairly good job to hook you initially this is the game. Otherwise, steer clear. I'm uninstalling this pos time waster.

It's too bad too. The devs wouldn't have to address too many issues to keep making it fun. Shame on them.
