App features when you’re a member of My Starbucks Rewards®:

Stop whining and acting entitled
I read many recent complaints about the app not being optimized for iPhone 6 or 6plus. I have had the 6plus since the phone was released and it has been crystal clear and easy to use since the release. As for Apple pay, that has been available for several months to reload your card under the pay tab rather than shake to pay feature. Not all the features are in your face available and I would assume that is because not everything is used. I use the app multiple times a day and I add money to my card through Apple pay reload. Google the instructions if you are unsure how to use it. Just because you can not find the feature or don't like the location of it does not make it a bad app. The pay feature is the biggest thing with an app and it is really easy to get to, shake your phone and it pops up. The only thing I dislike about the most recent update is the menu with nutritional information was removed, I know eating out is not the healthiest choice but being able to review nutritional information allows you to make healthy choices.
I hate this app for anything but Pay
The pay reload and use are easy. Everything else is awful. I don't get why I can't just find what I want to order without having to look around the app or go back and forth forever. And why can't I just pick which location I want to order ahead from?? I spent 10 minutes today trying to figure out how to change the location to somewhere other than my normal for order ahead and could not. It kept selecting a location twice as far as the nearest location. When I asked the guy at Starbucks if there was a way to fix that he said I had to have my location finder on. Dur, I do. Then he just shrugged and said I don't know. Granted, this is more a customer service complaint but if the employees can't figure out how to use the app, how are we supposed to? And you get stars from each order, not each item, so I spend extra time ordering everything separately to get more stars. Annoying. I just use it for the pay which is nice because then I only need to bring my phone in the store (which is where I have my coworkers orders written anyway).
Love Starbucks! Not always app!
I have been a gold member for 5-6 years now& ever since the app. was developed I have had it. I have auto update set on my iPhone 6plus, and have had little problems here and there. Nothing major. I do have to say, my card (on screen) changes form gold to regular gift card picture sometimes. But my main issue is my stars(points) do not always show up. Even after the 24hrs it says it may take. Which does bother me a lot. My partner have the actual card and I have the app and I have my card on passbook. The one time I couldn't get the app to work I use passbook but couldn't add $ (reload) with passbook. I haven't try to reload with passbook since. The location settings is bothersome as I see many people have mentioned. While in use would be a great addition to the setting on this app!!!
