Amazing
Update: I took away a star because there is room for improvement. Real time update of stars earned, break down of stars earned on receipts, and ability use Siri to place an order would b amazing. I really love Starbucks. Everything below is still true. Keep up the great work.
This app has made shopping at Starbucks so much easier. I love that there is very little wait time after placing a mobile order. I love the ability to set a favorite store and favorite drink. The app has become my go to source for ordering Starbucks. I even use it when I'm already siting in Starbucks, and don't feel like leaving my seat or standing in line.
Wish the app could allow for quantity of an item and use voice search for items. Overall Im very pleased and can't tell you in words how much I love the Starbucks app and Starbucks as a whole
Tips need MAJOR help
1 yr later, and the problem is worse. As of May 1, the review receipt/ tip function isn't working at all. Recent transactions don't even show up in history. Help?!?
LOVE LOVE LOVE this app. Payment, reload, rewards, discounts and the fact that you can tip from the app are all great. But the tip function needs a couple tweaks. First, the option to tip pops up while you're in the payment screen right after you pay. It tells you to click to add a tip, but the app won't toggle between payment and tip. Instead you have to close out of payment and go into account history to add a tip. Frustrating. Second, the app gives 3-4 options for tipping. 50 cents. Dollar. 2 dollars etc. You can only select one. It would be nice if you could click on the 50 cents and dollar to tip $1.50 for instance. If tipping worked better I'd give it a 5
Starbucks app still needs work
I do like Starbucks, but the app still needs work! Many time my rewards won't be posted. Especially when they're running extra stars promos. If I purchase several drinks on one order, I don't get credit for all the drinks. So now I've started to pay for each item individually in order to get credit, which is a real pain to do & I shouldn't have to do it that way!!!😟
So even though I'm a loyal Starbucks customer, if I'm in a hurry & I need several drinks, I think twice about ordering & many times just get a tea at home instead.
Please work on your app & your rewards program Starbucks.
Your cheating your loyal customers out of their rewards.
Other than that it is very easy to use & I like that I can place the order at home & pick up my order on my way out to meet clients.
