Export your StoryBoard Artist 7 projects to view on an iPad or iPhone. Use the Shot Assistant to accompany on set to complete the perfect cinematic shot and share information with your crew.
Scroll through all of your storyboards frame by frame, view your text/script captions; mark your completed shots with a checkmark. Playback your project as an animatic; or email project for sharing with them on their iPhone, iPad or iTouch.

Shot by Shot
Shot Assistant allows you to track each and every shot as you scroll through your project. Click and slide on frame thumbnails or use the navigation toolbar at the top of your screen to navigate any shot in your project.
Make your Mark
Since production is often shot out of order, when you are done with a shot just “Check It Off!” One button touch layers a graphical checkmark letting you know that you've successfully completed the shot and it's time to move on.
Caption This!
Show or hide your accompanying captions. With a single touch your captions appear to give you all the extra info, script or directors notes and even dialog from your original StoryBoard Artist project. Every storyboard has it's own caption to view.
Action!
Want to see your storyboards in motion? Just press 'play' and watch the animatic on your iPad or iPhone. Frame by frame, allowing you to see the flow of your shots.
StoryBoard Artist - Shot Assistant also allows you to jump between multiple StoryBoard Artist projects so if you create multiple sequences or go back for pick-ups, you can easily navigate between projects.
Using StoryBoard Artist's - Shot Assistant you can get from script to screen while on the go and in production!
StoryBoard Artist's - Shot Assistant project files can be viewed on iPad, iPhone, and iTouch. Project files are created using StoryBoard Artist for the desktop.

May I PLEASE Have a Refund?
I think I was suckered into buying an app that has absolutely no affiliation with laptop version of StoryBoard Artist 7 software. It does not recognize any of my files from StoryBoard Artist 7. We are instructed to download an email link in order to access files, but that doesn't work. The app all by itself does absolutely nothing. I am in the middle of production and this is really terrible. iPhone7 doesn't even recognize the app.
It doesn't work
I purchased the desktop version and it doesn't work properly as advertised. It has a few issues - bugs.
I bought this smartphone version and it doesnt work either. It imports many of the images in the projects with gray areas covering part or almost all the image.
Both, desktop and smarthphone versions would be great if they really did work as advertised. Until then, dont buy it, stay clear from this faulty software.
Super aid for Storyboarding!
You never know what extra tool you need in your arsenal until your run into opportunities that need extra elbow grease. This app is perfect for what it does to fill a specific niche. Without having heavy and expensive fully blown notebooks and dongles, I can now just pack my iPad and StoryBoard Artist Shot Assistant to the set or rehearsal. The convenience of having my completed StoryBoard Artist Studio project imported into my iPad is priceless. Having long battery life and a Retina screen, the project pops off the display and then we can make any comments and move into the next scene. LOVE the Checkmark!!! Finally have a simple way to know something is ok and can move quickly between good shots and bad - plus having a quick animation or playback of the project is a great way to get back into the pacing of the scene.
This is one heck of a great app - perfectly fits into the whole PowerProduction system of apps and software for superior storyboarding!!!! Thanks!!!!!
