One of the best clash of clans clones out there
I enjoyed this game very much in the means that it made micro transactions completely optional, and made its freemium currency easily available. The game makes plenty of references to the books it was based off of, but does not through its license in your face. I used many unique abilities and events to draw it far from the gameplay it was based off. The hero system is varied, but often, heroes of the same class feel too similar. The biggest problem was that once you reach a high player level, you run out of content to explore.
Lots of bolted blasting fun!
Just started to play, but this game is a lot of fun. The storyline is great, I like the graphics, and the battle sequences are cool. I have played lots of games like this in which you grow your city & Army and wage war, but only a few have held my interest for a long duration. I think this is going to be one of those! (Only thing I would do to improve it is add Orcs.)
Good 40k game but needs polishing
This is a great game to scratch your 40k universe itch, but I find several things lacking.
First, some of the mechanics are poorly designed. Creating a base layout is clunky and not intuitive.
Next, the game is a bit money grubbing. Every single choice comes with the option to watch a video, which leads me to believe the developers are more concerned with ad revenue than gameplay. Also you start with only one builder. Virtually every other competitor game allows you to start with two builders. Again the developers want you to spend money to buy a second building. Revenue is what they care about, not gameplay experience.
Overall worth a download, but expect to move on quickly.
