What happens when a graphic designer and a photographer meet! No, it is not a start of a cheesy love story, but rather a food story out of which The Spoon was born.
The Spoon is all about food and lifestyle. It is a new quarterly publication dedicated to beautiful images and delicious recipes. In every three month we will guide you through a new season with divine recipes and beautiful photography and share our passion for food with you.
The Spoon was designed for slow consumption. Do not rush through the pages, just enjoy it slowly to be able to taste every bits of it like you would taste a good wine or an exquisite meal. If you just run through it you might miss some unforgettable moments.
In The Spoon | Volume 1 you can read all about the pie, take a tour in a virtual bistro, find juicy recipes about apples and yummy sweet potato. Warm up your soul with our hearty soups and learn the alternatives to sugar. Find some scary Halloween craft ideas, or just simply spice up your home for the Fall.

Okay so I never usually write reviews like ever ha. But this magazine is amazing. Maybe because its not a print magazine turned into an iPad app, but a mag that is made especially for the iPad that explains why it's so great. It makes fantastic use of the tablet features. And this is coming from someone who normally prefers print over digital. I'm a bit more traditional I guess.
That French music that played in the bistro section was the icing on the cake... Sigh. I love it. BRAVO!!!!
Stumbled upon this and decided to give it a try. I'm not disappointed. Easy to navigate, the photos are beautiful, and the recipes look delicious. Can't wait to try these at home!
Quite possibly the future of cooking magazines! Very intuitive with great recipes, plus the photography is outstanding. Can't wait to try all of these great recipes.
