Maybe it's just "As good as it gets"
I was actually searching for a Christian-based "gratitude journal" where there was a verse/saying each day that was encouraging in a Christian way. So far, I've come up empty. This app seems pretty close and the app actually has some nice features to it. I like the quotes so far, I like just typing my "what I'm thankful for" comments in the easy bullets format vs. having to stick with "categories". I can add photos, which is nice. I can "rate" my day.
But the one thing that drives me nuts -- so much that I might not be able to keep up with this app -- are the photos of this man who must be associated with the app. I forget his name but he sure is proud of his DSS title. It's almost a bit creepy why he keeps showing a picture of himself! I mean, with all due respect, WHO CARES? I'm not interested in idolizing this particular man. I want my "idol" to be Jesus Christ and Christ alone.
I've done only a few days so far, but if I have to keep seeing his photo, I'm stopping. I mean, remove the photos, PLEASE, and reduce the size of the quote just a bit so we can see more of our written bullets. My suggestion. I can't deal with an app when a man thinks that much of himself that he needs to see his and/or other men's photos on a gratitude journal app.
Simple and Greatful!
Simple app i've been using for over a year. It's fun to go back a year ago and see what I wrote, what I was grateful for, and what has come into my life because I've written it down
