Customer Reviews

My go-to app for weather forecast

I like everything about this weather app EXCEPT that it is hard to change preferences once they've been entered. For example it took me several minutes to remove a location I had entered twice. Then it turned out to be labeled differently on the edit page (the little town that I live closest to was renamed with the name of a larger city ~2 miles further away). So although I thought the city was listed twice, the weather report was occasionally different for each. (a micro climate thing)This obviously is not a big deal but hey, this is a review, right? Also I have entered preferences (real time weather notification) and because it couldn't perform the function at that time, it changed the preference I selected. Maybe that function is never available? Because if it sometimes is available I would rather keep my preference to be notified of weather alerts.
These are very minor criticisms. On the plus side, this app has an elegant design. It is easy to find a detailed weather report for everywhere in the world (at least everywhere I've looked) with up-to-date changes made in a timely manner.
I have tried out several other weather apps that have more elaborate graphics but provide less info and are not as easy to use.
I recommend this as the best weather app out there.

An actual accurate app

If there's one thing I like about this app, is how accurate it is! Always on point, however there is one feature I would like them to add on here. In the portion where you can tell your weather to the community, besides showing the type of weather allow a picture, this way people can see for example how flooded a roadway might be to avoid traveling there, or even to just to share the weather condition and in doing so it will help the weather channel to depict the weather even further more accurately showing where it's more intense, ( The only reason I say that is because I live by the shore and even though they show a storm coming at us the thermal current protect us 90% of the time deflecting the storm north or south of us ) so we would be able to help them forecast the weather by simply showing them the clouds as it sheers around us. But it would be a very big safety feature to add

Great app

Great app, easy to use, lots of useful information and more. If you keep scrolling down, there's lots of helpful information. Like ski reports in the winter, airport delays at the airports near you and so on. Only drawback is sometimes it gets your location wrong when giving you local weather (I live at least a mile away from the city it says I'm in when I'm at home) and I wish you could change the order of the stored cities that you keep. Right now if you add a city it's put at the bottom (or last) of your list. If you have several you have to scroll through all of them to get to the newest city which is a pain. If you could change the order by moving the cities around by dragging them to the desired spot, that would be great. Other than that I love this app.
