I paid $4.99 for this expecting it to be great and easy to work with, but it was the opposite. If you want to present with this, you can’t. It basically uses a picture of your timeline and isn’t interactive. If you wrote more than is displayed in the squares, you can’t use it.
Timeline does NOT display time intervals that make sense. Shows same distance for 10-year span as for 3-year span. ?!
I am trying to create an American History timeline. This program needs to be able to have dates entered which don't fall on an interval. For example, if I have the intervals set at 50 year increments, then place on the timeline 1492 Columbus - the timeline should show in between 1450 and 1500 this 1492 entry. Currently, this app does not work that way. To set the intervals to one year will show the 1492 date, but one year intervals do not work for a timeline of this magnitude. Suppressing the dates not used only distorts the timeline and takes away the whole point of a timeline which is to show events in the perspective of a time line. Otherwise, love the look of this timeline and the ability to pull in pictures. Once this interval issue is fixed, I would then highly recommend this app.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
