Amazing app, love the idea!
I love Trōv! This is an amazing idea that will surely disrupt the insurance industry. I will certainly use Trōv a lot when I travel or just want a little extra protection. I'm the kind of person who makes an investment when I purchase valuables, so I expect to have them for a long time, and I will always try to fix something before I will simply go and buy another, and Trōv shares these values as well by helping us make the most of our things. Most insurance companies do not cover loss or theft but Trōv and their partners do, which is very reassuring. Thank you for protecting my stuff Trōv!
Amazing in theory only!
Everything is good adding and removing insurance as necessary. However, when it comes to them actually paying a claim get ready for a total runaround. I have given them information requested only to be told they need even more “proof” even asking for a pic of me with the item that is lost or damaged. Yet that wouldn’t include the info they are now asking for. Just another ripoff service designed to take money and never pay out. If you’ve had similar problems I suggest you file a complaint with your state insurance department.

Don’t trust it
Uploaded pictures of serial numbers and stuff over the years and they casually deleted all the pictures, emailed support and they said they did it on purpose because it wasn’t a “real-time” photo of the item and they can’t be retrieved - I’m not entirely sure what that means? They think I got a DeLorean up to 88 mph and did some Back To The Future stuff? I work for an insurance company and I would never in my wildest dreams delete a policy holders documents submitted because I didn’t think they were valid yet this is exactly what his company did.
