Outstanding App - A must Install
This new version pales in comparison to the former. Articles are way too short - maybe I need to explore it further, although my initial thoughts are not too positive. Too bad the previous version wasn't financially viable. It rocked.
"Previous comments - prior version"
This is quite simply one of the best apps I've seen on the iPad. From its photos to its prose and its navigation - its as smooth as silk. Nice too, that you can download for offline reading. The connection of photos to the satellite/map is welcomed. Inline videos in HD are outstanding and the photography is of top quality. As a travel sales specialist, these magazines are especially helpful in keeping me up to date and informed on the many wonderful locations throughout the world. Looking forward to each new mag!
An unwelcome change
As an avid traveler, TRVL was a favorite app for looking back on where I have been and dreaming of where to travel next. The photos and the essays were a wonderful way to pass time. However, with the new update, it is clear they are moving away from what made the app so great in an effort. No more essays with wonderful photos. Just a single photo with a blurb about the location. The app is now striving to be a travel agent, something I do not need or want. They have lost their foundation and passion. What a disappointment. What a shame.
I'm with the others. This is a mere shadow of the prior version. Even worse, I had downloaded all of the old material for offline reading. I can no longer access that data, although it appears to be still using device storage. I bought an iPad Pro just for this app. Anyone want to buy an iPad Pro?
