Please Fix This. Huge Inconvenience.
I've used Tune In Radio Pro for years now, and I've never encountered any thing too cumbersome when it comes to the navigational ergonomics of the app; that is until recently when I purchased the app for iOS. As I said, I've used your app for quite a number of years now as a main source for podcasts, so you can imagine I've accumulated quite a number of podcasts on my favorites list. But the problem with the iOS app is that when I'm browsing through my list I'll click on a podcast and decide its not worth my time, I'll click back and it sends me all the way to the top of the list. It's more annoying when I'm way toward the bottom of the list: I'll click on a podcast but decide not to listen to it and when I click back... All the way to the top, hundreds of podcasts I'll have to scroll through again and again and again. Please look into this. I'm using an iPod Touch with the most recent iOS.
Also, minor, but still would improve the user experience. Could you provide the full episode descriptions? One can only make out part of it. Most of the time you need to actually listen to the beginning of an episode to decide if it's worth listening to. That would save the listener so much time. Thank you for taking the time to read this, whether human or algorithm.
New update is awful!!
I've used this app for years to listen to talk radio on my iPhone 5. I love it. I have my fav shows/stations in My Profile. Also podcast websites. I can always search and find a new station with my shows if I need to, sometimes a show is playing at a different time on a different station. I like the Sleep timer. It keeps my battery from running down if I listen while falling asleep. Sometimes I record shows. It'll even record fine if I turn the sound down to go into a store or meeting. I used to have disconnect problems with my former ISP. No longer with Time Warner wifi.
The best so far, but...
This radio app is the best I've seen so far. It has a nice recording feature that becomes very handy at times. However, there is room for improving the interface; for example, it would be great to have a feature to change the color or the bkgrnd. highlight of your bookmarked favorite stations. Otherwise it gets really difficult to find what you're looking for in a cluster of favorites. Color coding the list of stations will make them easier to find, especially if you're behind the wheel driving..
The recent updates have removed a good feature that was very useful- quick access to the previous 2 or 3 channels. Would be great to see that feature again!
