Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Tweet, Retweet, reply and favorite in a flash. Quickly see recent Tweets and top trends. Share your location, a song, or your thoughts with a flick on the wrist. It's Twitter, but littler.
Twitter is a free app that lets you connect with people, express yourself, and discover more about all the things you love.
See what your favorite celebs and athletes are chatting about. Be the first to hear breaking news. Catch a glimpse behind the scenes at concerts, sporting events, and more.
Then join the conversation: Tweet your own text, photos, and video to your followers — and maybe make a few fans along the way.
Get inspired. Be social. Even send private messages to friends. All in real time, as big (and little) things happen, from anywhere you happen to be.
Twitter is now available for Apple Watch.
What's New in Version 6.38.1
Find the best of Twitter in an instant with Moments. Follow top stories through immersive pics, clips, and conversations. Get insights and perspectives you won't find anywhere else.
Go big in Direct Messages with super-sized emojis. All the emojis you love are now available to DM in XXL.
For a future update, I think it would be cool if I could organize the people I follow by groups, ie news, close friends, family, etc. Sometimes I just wanna see tweets from my friends, sometimes I wanna only look at the news. It would eliminate the continual annoying scrolling through tweets I honestly don't care about at the time, letting me quickly see what i want when I have the time too. As a student, time for me is limited, as studying for tests and finishing homework is imperative. Alas, that said, I don't wanna turn into a complete nerd and retain some form of a social life, hence, twitter, for me to find out what me friends are doing when I have some free time. I hope that something like this could be developed soon, it would drastically improve how users view twitter. Thanks!
Bug and moments is dumb
iPhone 6, on iOS 8.4.1. With this version I now have a notification bug, it always says I have a new one, but there is only old ones that show up! The only way to fix it is by turning on "mentions only" in the notification section then disable it again. After that, I see my new notifications. That is NOT a permanent fix, because next notification I have to do it ALL over again. Seriously annoying me.
I also have received this useless data hogging section called "moments" I don't care what is in moments, there is nothing I want to see in it. Give me the option to disable it! It's useless and using data to notify me every 3 seconds that there are new moments to see. You're supposed to be improving this app, so do just that.
2/5 star because I like Twitter, except you gave me a bug and now a useless data eating section that I didn't need. Data is not cheap!!
Would love to see an edit feature, like many other users, since it really is a waste of time to delete and repost for a minor error. Also, not a fan AT ALL of the moments tab. I wish there was an option to remove it from my account or at least hide it. I've clicked on it twice by accident and am irritated that it's still there showing me things I don't care about. Contrary to what big companies think, I don't care what everyone else is doing in the world and I certainly don't want you trying to make things easier for me. Just makes it worse. Let me look for what I want to look for. :-/
