Updated and still freezes, remote constantly forgets your receiver, just annoying overall. If I didn't have to use this app daily at work, I would never!
Still horrible! Nothing like paying $250 a month for Uverse tv and Internet for this app to always show errors and unavailable. Update; still not working as required. CONSTANTLY FREEZES! If you want to watch more than 2 shows in a row it will say you exceeded the allowable stream, also this still does not work if you are in a different wifi other than your home.
Why do I need to be on my home network for this app to work? If I am at home I will use my 80 inch tv! Duh! I have been an Att subscriber for over 30 years and have 5 iPhones, Internet, uverse tv, iPads and home lines and that is not enough for Att and I must be on a home network for this app to stream. Makes absolutely no sense. Getting ready to cut cable very soon!
The worst streaming app ever used
We've tried for over a year - broken update after restrictive update to use this UVERSE app to simply watch CNBC or any station in the home office. Three home boxes. Total, absolute fail. Constant bizarre error messages, crashing, freezing if you ever finally get any channel to play it quits a minute later with "Rights expired" or "content no longer available" among a dozen other random errors. No amount of router/box restarts, deleting app makes any difference, nor does having them replaced.
More recently it just says the service is not available at all or claims we are not on home wifi (a wifi only iPad that's never been out of the house) and any of four other tablets and phones.
Every other streaming app works well for us but this "app" is honestly just a frustrating waste of time. For the small fortune we pay every month we can't get an app that even works.
ATT with all the $$$ they have can't (be bothered to) manage any quality or functionality at all for over a year. Even if it worked we are not allowed to watch our own recordings on the app. It defies belief!
The day when we are rid of these arrogant, apathetic and incompetent corporations can't get here quickly enough.
Freezes over and over, then tells you that you have exceeded number of streams allowed
The app before this one was highly annoying with the SAME commercials every 10 minutes, but at least it worked. When you choose a show to watch on demand, when the show starts the screen goes completely black. So I close the app and open it again - same result. After trying 3 times, the app then gives an error message stating that you have exceeded the number of allowable streams, and to please try again later. I Haven't seen a single show, yet I've exceeded the number allowed? Awesome, ATT. Thanks FOR THE CRAP APP. I will be sure to pay my $250 uverse bill for you on-time, too, as usual .
