This new version of the ATT U-verse app does not work!!
I would love to be able to give this app a good review, but unfortunately I cannot. The newest version of this app simply does NOT work; it worked great before, but unfortunately you took something that worked perfectly fine and completely broke it and rendered it completely useless.
I've tried to get to the support area and that does not help either. I've tried to login several times and even uninstalled the app and re-installed it and that still produces an error message.
You need to get this fixed as soon as possible. We as customers pay a lot for our U-verse service and you talk up one of the additional benefits of having U-verse is being able to have this app to use and yet now we simply cannot longer use this app. This error needs to get fixed immediately!! There really is no reason that you would be launching an app that does not work. You are a technical communications company and this simply should not be happening.
Having a few issues
I was happy when Uverse was finally available in my area. I spend most of my time in bed with health issues. So I watch shows on other apps with iPhone. I was hoping I could be able to watch live shows. For some reason it just stops. It says that to watch more channels I have to be home. I am home. I don't understand this. I go to the On Demand and touch network or show and it says that it is not on my plan. I have or should I say I am paying for the biggest package with all channels. HBO other movie channels, etc. But it just shows a lock by the show or network. Don't get me wrong I appreciate the channels I can get at certain times but I just think it should be better. I would also love to be able to watch shows on my iPhone that my husband or I have recorded. Thank you.
This app is awful
AT&T needs to do the right thing and cut their entire Dev staff including whomever allowed this version to be released to the public. It is very apparent there was absolutely no testing involved in this release. The remote control functionality is an absolute joke. This was an issue previously and appeared to have gotten better and now it's worse. How does that even happen with proper testing? The remote works at the initial opening but once the iPhone locks or you switch apps it no longer works. Essentially anytime I want to use it I have to close and re-open it for my receivers to be recognized. I am now looking at pricing for other providers as AT&Ts higher costs simply don't match the service they are providing.
