I've been using Viggle practically sine they started! And have stuck with it cause it's fun and easy- but No More! I'm sick of the horrible service, I live in Phoenix I have Cox cable. I haven't been able to check into a show for 3/4 months now! and when I email support if I even get a response It's a generic our technicians are working on it- and Yes they actually say we have No Time frame for a fix. So basically I try to check into Bones it's on TV @ 8 PM can't check in can't check in well the Viggle App says its on at 6 pm on a channel that I don't recognize we'll AZ has a local call sign for FOX and that's what shows on the Viggle App, NOT FOX and the times for everything are all screwed up So what's actually on TV and in the TV Guide are Not what's on Viggle there fore not allowing me to check into on anything! Can't check in with their actual recognition can't check in with manual input it won't recognize the show or network or channel number NOTHING! But they're radio function works great!
They asked me to write a review, so here it is
Well, they picked the wrong person to ask to do a review, that's for sure! I am not happy with Viggle at all. Practically no rewards or gift cards at all, and the ones that they do have are hugely overpriced. As far as customer service goes, there isn't any. You can only contact them via email (there is no phone #), and the wait for a response is ludicrous! It takes a week or more to get a response, if they even respond at all. I had to threaten to turn them in to the BBB (because they DO respond to them!) to get them to respond to me. It was 3 WEEKS after I had initially emailed them. Oh, and don't say one negative thing to or about them on Facebook or Twitter. They cannot handle ANY KIND of criticism or suggestion on how to improve their service or app. They will block you immediately and keep you blocked for life! That's what they did to me.
Went from great to worthless
I've been with viggle for a long time and unfortunately this app has completely deteriorated. It doesn't work anymore, only checks into shows successfully about 10% of the time and is constantly having problems connecting to their server. Their customer service is not only slow to respond but more importantly, they dangle the offer of bonus points for checking into certain shows but when you try and fail because their server connection is faulty, they won't give you the credit. The worst part of how things have changed is they've astronomically increased the rewards points (the cruise went from 240,000 points to several millions for example). I was close to that and now, there's no way I'll ever reach that with their sketchy technology! Seems not only unfair but unethical business model to change the game midway
