Customer Reviews

Earned points are now useless

After reading many of the reviews, I tend to agree with the people giving bad reviews, which is most of them. I now have 740,000+ points. The numerous rewards are no longer available. I have gotten so many great gifts in the past, but no longer. That's why I have so many points now. The gift card section is always blank, and now I do attend to agree with many of the people saying Viggle has lied. I have many emails to and from them. They keep telling me the gift card section has cards between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm but disappear very quickly. I have looked at all hours and it's always blank. There is no way I miss them ALL every time. They have done nothing but feed me a bunch of bs as long as this has been happening. There is an ebook I was trying to purchase for 35,000 points. I was willing to do it since I had so many and was unable to use them anywhere else. I didn't want to purchase music. The book I want has jumped to 259,800 points! How the hell can they justify that!?! I refuse to buy, and I refuse to waste my time and energy "viggling" any longer. Don't get sucked into this. Keep right on looking at other apps.

Don't waste your time

I've been a Viggle'r for several years now. It used to actually be motivating to see all different prizes I could trade my points in for - we're talking cruises and Dyson vacuums. I don't know how long the decline has been going, but recently I've taken a good look at finally spending my points on books and music since there are NEVER gift card options available when I check. I looked today at rewards options after installing the recent update and what a joke. The same music album that used to cost 29,000 points now costs 199,800 points. Are you kidding me?! When the points earning system hasn't changed (music check-ins still only worth 100 points each), this app is a gross waste of time. The effort of earning points to reward potential is frustrating, which is sad saying since Viggle actually used to be fun. In the end I'm just another disappointed user who will be un-installing.

Craptastic!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!

So around a year ago my account with 700,000+ points was suspended and removed because it was "not in accordance with Viggle's terms of use"...which could only mean I was watching too many ads they provided to me and was reaching the daily limit. When I challenged them, they were unable to present to me which term of the user agreement I had violated. I guess I was too good at earning points.

I have since realized the app is a total waste of time and I just keep it on my phone so I can continue to update my review to tell my story to warn potential downloaders every time Viggle updates their app, aka pressing the reset button on their negative reviews. I did the math and realized when they used to have prizes, I was earning about 20 cents an hour of my time based on prize values--and that was usually maximizing bonus shows, quizzes, and music daily.

Anyway, I vowed to them to continue telling and spreading my experience until this company is buried, and I got silence from their customer service. I am not surprised their stock value has dropped 94% year to date and is hovering around 0.25! Viggle as we know it will be gone soon as they begin chasing the already saturated daily fantasy sports market. These people aren't innovators. They're pathetic trend chasers.
